World Food Day 2024

We were delighted to host a community event to raise awareness of world food day 2024 and the important message to remind us of the dire food poverty affecting children across the world.

Local cultural communities brought their traditional cuisines for all of us to share and we were treated to tasty and delicious food and drink from Romania, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Far East and others.

We were pleased to welcome our local the Leader of the Borough Council and other Councillors, Police Community Officers and community leaders and their families and friends.
