International Women’s Day 2025

How did we celebrate International Women’s Day 2025?

We were thrilled to hold an informal afternoon tea for old friends who brought new friends and were introduced. The women enjoyed great conversations and a delicious afternoon tea homemade scones and cakes provided by members of the Board and Soroptimists Hertford & District Club. 

The Mayor and Mayoress joined us and the Mayor was in charge of serving the refreshments to the group of very thirsty friendly women.  The Mayor then presented each of us a pink tulip which was a fabulous gift to end our small but beautiful celebration of International Women’s Day.
